Im serious about this. Finishing a novel is like having the literary equivalent to post-partum depression. Its happened to me every single time Ive finished something, even when I know I get to go back and revise and have more fun with the characters. Give it time. Relax. Its normal.

First, congratulations!!!! I am so proud of you, I would practically shriek if my naturally reserved demeanor did not prevent it. Second, I'll echo Charity's comments. I'm in a funk even after writing blog entries, so finishing a novel seems like it might take even more of a toll. Third, I'm so sorry about the aches and pains, rasping throats, and chest-rattling coughs. Sleep well, rest often, and I'll bring you a copy of Julie & Julia to read. Again, congratulations! Anno

My kids always considered tuna cassrole as a form of child abuse......so I gave up making it. I shall have to dig the recipe out again now that you have reminded me how much I like it. Cheers Fi xxx
